Corporate General Disclosure Statement Regarding Protection Of Personal Data
As MetaPol Kimya San. ve Tic. Ltd., we have prepared this disclosure statement in order to inform you, Online Visitors, regarding the processing, storage and transfer of your personal data within the framework of the activities arising from the Law no. 6698 on Personal Data Protection Law (“LPPD”) and applicable legislation and legal regulations.
What are your personal data categories we process and for what purposes do we process them?
The personal data of our business partners will be able to be processed in compliance with the following principles on article 4.2 of the LPPD:
(i) Compliance with the law and rules of good faith,
(ii) Being accurate and up-to-date when necessary,
(iii) Processing for specific, clear and legitimate purposes,
(iv) Being connected with, limited to and commensurate with the purposes of processing,
(v) Storage of data for a period stipulated by the respective legislation or required for the processing purpose,
within the scope of established and ongoing business relations with our business partners (a person may fall under multiple categories) in line with the following purposes.

Process security information (e.g. your IP address information), identification information and contact details (e.g. your e-mail address) (if you provide us with these) of our online visitors using our website will be processed for the following purposes:
- conducting activities in accordance with the legislation,
- carrying out information security processes,
- monitoring of requests/complaints,
- carrying out communication activities,
- informing authorized persons, organizations and institutions, and
- being able to access our website via the internet.
What Are the Methods of Collecting Your Personal Data?
Your personal data specified in categories above are collected automatic or non-automatic ways by physical means such as order forms, contracts, visitor forms, or through information systems and electronic devices (e.g. telecommunication infrastructure, computers and phones), third parties, our website and via other documents declared by the data subjects.
What is the Legal Reason for the Collection of Your Personal Data?
Your personal data is processed by MetaPol Kimya San. ve Tic. Ltd. in line with the accomplishment of the objectives described above, based on the following legal reasons stated in article 5 of the LPPD:
(i) When it is clearly stipulated in laws,
(ii) When it is required to process personal data pertaining to the parties of a contract to the extent personal data are directly related to the conclusion or execution of the contract,
(iii) When it is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation,
(iv) When data processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of any right,
(v) When it is mandatory to process data for legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject are not prejudiced.
When the data processing activity cannot be based on one of the above legal reasons, your personal data is processed based on your express consent.
Do We Transfer Your Personal Data to Third Parties?
Personal data of our online visitors can be shared with judicial authorities and authorized public institutions and organizations in order to resolve legal disputes and if requested by virtue of the relevant legislation.
How Can You Exercise Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data?
You can send your requests under article 11 regulating the rights of data subject of the Law in writing to info@metapolkimya.com in accordance with the “Communiqué on Procedures and Principles of the Application to Data Controller”.
